Sasquatch Hunt

This weekend we had the awesome opportunity to attend Sasquatch Hunt with the Webelos. Rick was the Archery Range master and I helped in registration. When I was not there, I was able to go around with Austin to the many different activities. It has been so great to see him emerge this past couple of months. His favorite station was the Tomahawk Throw.

Did I ever think I would allow a child of mine to be throwing things let alone a tomahawk? NO, but I relaxed and let him make the huge step and responsibility.

Practicing his knots.Shelter building...or watching...

Visiting Dad at the Archery Range.

It was a very long weekend, but worth everything. Wesley and A'dra stayed with some dear friends. They had fun until I got a call this morning with news of A'dra throwing up. She has a severe headache and neck ache, and a temp (but that isn't unusal for her). So we end the weekend with sickness. But unlike last year, she has only had 1 uti and this (what ever it is) in the first 4 weeks of school. It seems that the subq is working well.

With all the craziness going on I hope everyone is well and happy.
