New vehicle!!!

Woo hoo!!!! after trying to figure out what to do about the van, and borrowing my parents vehicle for 2 weeks, we decided to go shopping yesterday. I got off of work at 2 and then off we went. We ended up getting a 2004 Dodge Durango. It's not green, so we are safe there. It's a pretty blue! When we were looking at different cars, they told us to look at this one, and the kids got in, saw that it had a dvd player and said "yep this is it mom!" They were sold. It's in awesome shape, has all the bells and whistles and we got a stealer deal on it. It does have 7 seats, so if we need the extra 2 we are good. So, the van is gone, and we are trying to figure out when we can go camping and try out the towing feature. It also has 4 wheel drive, so we are looking forward to the snow trips this winter. This week is shaping up to be much quieter. We have school pictures tomorrow, and piano on Wednesday. From the busy week last week, I am looking forward to some quiet.

We have one more batch of jelly to make and then I think we are done canning for the season. We canned over 150 jars this year, and man, it's been long but fun. We have some black bean drying out, and some corn to finish ripening, but that gets frozen not canned.
