It's been a long time...

So, I think that last time I've had to deal with this much snow was 1993. I was a sophomore in high school and I didn't have a care in the world. (well, I had just had knee surgery so I was laid up anyway.)
OK...why the reminiscence? In our back yard right now we have about 15 inches of snow and 1 inch of ice in the middle. It is different being the adult and having to worry about power, heat, and driving. Well, I am not worried about driving. I am not going any where so that's OK. But, Rick has to still work so I worry about him driving, or more of the other people on the road.
The kids are loving it. It has started snowing again so who know how much we will get before it starts to thaw. Right now it looks like we are going to have a white Christmas!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Here are some pictures.

Austin digging out a fort

The snow under and over the ice on the bbq.

The tree in our front...

Our back yard before the ice and another 6 inches of snow.

The front of the house before the ice and more snow.

It is snowing again pretty heavily. I love it! Ask me again in a couple days when we have not been able to get any where...but it's fun and beautiful.

That ice in the middle sure is crazy! Pretty cool looking when we dig stuff out, though!
