It's finally over, after months and months of preparations day camp is finally over. I am not sure it is an experience I would want to do again. Most of the staff was great. The good ones were really good and the bad ones were really bad. The kids survived quite well. Bribery does work. Now that is has been 3 days of trying to get back to normal, I am tackling my much neglected house. Getting back to work and trying to get ready for school.
Wesley and A'dra had their last IVIG therapy on Monday. Next week we are going to start infusions by Sub Q. This will be a weekly infusion. It is less medication, the side effects are smaller and we can do it at home. I think they will do better on this. They won't have to miss as much school and their IgG levels will stay at a maintained level instead of spiking and dropping so dramatically every month. We are looking forward to less doctors appointments.
I am hoping that with more time now, we can keep this up to date. I'll also post some camp pictures as soon as we get copies.
